What the game is

SLAM TANK, made and published by Next Stage Inc., is a single-player tank action game. Per its Steam page, an AI has taken control of the world's machines, and you choose from three tanks, each with a distinct combat style. You spin the turret, swing the cannon barrel and ram through enemy ranks, chaining drifts, attacks and unique abilities. Boost pads and jump ramps add speed and air tricks. The score system is the hook: it is the total cost of the damage you deal to the AI's machines, including the CPUs and GPUs inside them. You can also place decals and cosmetic parts on your tank. The Steam page states that anyone may stream or post videos of the demo and use platform monetization without contacting the studio.

What Conrado did

Conrado opened the session by promising chat something big: "You're going to see how crazy this is." He mentioned the movement ("W, A, S, D to drive") and then, once the tank started to drift: "Man, I love this." He described it as fast, good-looking and fluid. He also called out the tank drifting.

Soon after, he stopped narrating: "We can just let the game speak for itself." Later, after fights full of explosions, he finished with an instruction to the audience: "Slam Tank... it's mandatory that you all download this thing!"

In another clip from the same session he told viewers that he found it "sensacional" (sensational) and asked them to download the demo and play it. He also called it the most "video game" game he had played in a long while.

What we saw on screen

Tanks that drift and swing their barrels made an immediate impression, and Conrado’s reaction stayed unreservedly positive.
