Editorial basis (draft)

Conrado played Guns 'n Goblins on our October 24, 2026 stream, between 20:18 and 20:32 BRT. This piece is based on one short highlight of movement and combat around a stone platform, plus the official Steam page. We'll add his quotes once we've checked the transcript.

Calling the next horde

Guns 'n Goblins, developed by Lance and Argl and published by SoulGame, is an incremental horde-survival FPS, according to Steam. Ringing a bell calls enemies; rewards feed character and weapon upgrades and the rebuilding of a Bastion. That longer progression comes from the store page. The clip only shows a short fight.

A knife, a pistol and another level

The highlight opens with a knife equipped and the HUD showing level six and 18/20 health. Conrado moves along stonework above a dark landscape, beneath a large bright moon. Later frames show a pistol firing towards enemies near the circular platform. Hit flashes and floating damage numbers give each exchange a visible response.

Near the end of the clip, a level-up message appears and the HUD shows level seven. The pistol's ammunition counters also change through the sequence. So we can see the shooting and the first level-up. The clip doesn't show which upgrade he picked or how the Bastion grew over the session.

Clear feedback, open questions on balance

The damage feedback and level-up announcement make the connection between fighting and advancement easy to follow in the footage. Switching between the knife and pistol also gives a visible distinction between close and ranged tools.

Health and ammunition are both on screen while enemies approach, so survival and resource use are part of the exchange. That alone doesn't tell us whether either one frustrated him. Reloads, aim feel, later hordes and how much the permanent upgrades matter all need a longer look. Until we check the transcript, we're not putting any praise or complaint in his mouth.

Who should try it

Players drawn to first-person horde combat and repeated upgrades can test the free demo linked below. When we checked on October 24, the main Steam page listed Q2 2027 as the planned release window. Base building and skeleton allies are on the store page, but the highlight doesn't show them.
