Tails Meets Our Booth
One of the better conversations we had at the booth during TGS was with Tails — a YouTuber who happens to genuinely love roguelike deckbuilders.
He stopped by, played Rogue Reigns, and stuck around to talk about the genre. Nothing fancy, no agenda — just someone who knows the space well, sharing thoughts on what works and what doesn't. The kind of feedback that's hard to get in the middle of a busy convention floor.
What started as a single visit kept going after the show. We stayed in touch, and he ended up joining Venn as a studio ambassador — not because of any formal arrangement at the time, but because the connection to the project was already there.
It's a small thing in the larger context of TGS, but it's the kind of small thing that ends up mattering. Conventions are mostly about putting the game in front of strangers and seeing what happens. Sometimes one of those strangers turns out to be someone you'll keep working with.
If you haven't added Rogue Reigns to your Steam wishlist yet, now's the time.
